Royal Mountain Hillclimb - July 23th, 2023

Hillclimbing has been a part of racing at Royal mountain since 1982. It was the first racing event ever held at the ski area.

Our hill which is run on the “Royal” ski trail is 650 feet in length. It has some rough areas where it is necessary to have the proper line plus speed to be successful.

Royal has hosted an AMA National on this hill and every year draws large turnouts of riders and spectators.

Snowmobiles, ATV’s, bikes and Pit Bikes are all part of the hill-climbing at Royal.
